RDP won't work on any port but 3389 - Server Fault
5(1281)
3389 port not listening In Windows usually the port will not listen if you have the "Remote Desktop" section set to "Don't allow remote connections to this computer" under the advanced "System Properties"..
port 33890
On a Windows7 Pro the remote desktop stopped beeing available. This is what I checked: Port 3389 is not available from extern (telnet .... 3389 does not work but telnet .... 445 works) netstat shows.
3389 port forwarding
The "umrdpservice" and "termservice" services are running without any problems, but when using the "netstat" command, it shows that the server is not listening on port 3389, which is the standard RDP port. I've tried various solutions, but the problem has persisted for a year, even though I regularly update the system.
